You can make your own Gak at home. Follow the easy directions to create this super cool mixture!

Materials:
Glue
Borax
Water
One mixing bowl
One small cup
Stirring sticks

Directions:

   1. In one container mix equal amounts of white glue and warm water. Add food coloring to this mixture if you want a colored Gak. From personal experience we have found that green and yellow work the best (red and blue can be sticky).

   2. In another container, mix 2 cups of warm water with approximately 2 Tbs. of Borax (this can be found at grocery stores in the laundry detergent aisle).

   3. Slowly pour the Borax solution to the glue and water solution and stir a few times.

   4. Remove the Gak and squeeze out any excess water and then have fun!

   5. You can experiment with the Gak by changing the amount of Borax you dissolve in the water – more Borax usually creates a stiffer Gak and less Borax creates a stickier Gak.

Store in a sealed bag or container and refrigerate to help maintain longevity of Gak.
